Street Haven’s Emergency Shelter provides 50 women with a safe place to sleep, nourishing meals, clothing, and medical supports, as well as access to counselling to help them rebuild their lives. Every night, the shelter is filled to capacity.

Street Haven Addiction Services provides a 3-month intensive treatment program for women or individuals who identify as women, ages 24 and up, experiencing challenges associated with substance dependency. A client-centred and trauma-informed approach provide a safe environment for women to learn and understand how substance use impacts their lives, relationships, health and well-being, through a variety of therapeutic and holistic methods and techniques.

Street Haven’s Supportive Housing program offers accommodations for 32 women in three different locations in downtown Toronto, each with a varying degree of staffing based on the clients’ needs. Through these locations, women who are recovering from trauma, mental wellness challenges or substance abuse issues, learn to set their own goals, live independently and become active members of the community. The program offers a variety of workshops and programs to enhance life skills and communication.

The Street Haven Training Services provides free Educational, Life Skills and Pre-Employment services for women. We deliver programming that is flexible and women-centred.  We offer unique programs to support women’s educational, employment, and independence pathways
