My name is Misty Manus, and I serve as the Executive Director of Adventure Bags, Inc., a Georgia-based nonprofit organization dedicated to serving children who are displaced or facing crisis situations.

Our mission is simple but powerful: we provide age-appropriate backpacks filled with overnight essentials and comfort items to children who are entering foster care, fleeing domestic violence, experiencing homelessness, or navigating other traumatic circumstances. Each bag is thoughtfully packed to ensure a child has something to call their own during the first 24–48 hours of displacement — offering security, dignity, and comfort during one of the most difficult moments of their lives.

We partner with agencies across the state of Georgia, including DFCS offices, law enforcement, fire departments, domestic violence shelters, and child advocacy centers. Through these partnerships, we are able to serve children in all 159 counties of Georgia.

As we continue to grow and expand our impact, we are always looking for meaningful corporate partners who share our heart for service and community engagement.
