Children Now is a registered charitable organization whose mission is to advance the cause of healthy, united families in society. We focus most of our initiatives on prevention and education. Some of the phenomena we specialize in include divorce, family mediation, poverty, delinquency, school drop-outs, bullying, violence, street gangs, health and the environment.
Organize annual programs for children from underprivileged backgrounds
Poverty can have lasting impacts on a child’s health, development, and ability to succeed. Early, targeted support—with the right resources—can help break the cycle and restore a sense of possibility. Cultural and recreational activities play a vital role in this, yet many underprivileged children lack access to them. These experiences build emotional resilience, self-esteem, creativity, and social skills. Thanks to our donors and sponsors, Children Now delivers five annual programs—Winter Camps, Spring Festivals, Summer Camps, Back to School – Equal Start, and Christmas Shows—reaching over 1,900 children each year in Montreal, Trois-Rivières, and Quebec City.
