BHcare is a local mental health authority with several housing programs that conduct outreach and engagement to unsheltered individuals in the Greater New Haven region of Connecticut. We currently work with over 75 individuals within our programs (enrolled) and have over 20 on waiting lists, and work with many others who come to our walk-in days for resources and information. We provide hygiene supplies, clothing, tents, sleeping bags and snacks when we have these items available. We rely on donations and grants to operate our programs.
