As grassroots organization we work with a large, and diverse volunteer base to deliver our programs, services, and strategic initiative to our neighbors. Our volunteers come from all walks of life, practice many faiths (or no faith), identify as “old,” and “new” Canadians, and have different lived experiences including being unhoused, and are of all ages ranging from 14 to over 80. Volunteerism at Cecil has grown organically over the last half decade.
