Durham Youth Services(DYS) provides the only emergency shelter for youth ages 16 -24 years in Durham Region. Joanne’s House can provide a safe space for up to 13 youth at one time. We provide intensive case management, family reconnection, in house case management and life skills as well as support in housing and employment search. The youth are provided with 3 meals per day and snacks.
