The Gerstein Crisis Centre works with adults 16+ in the city of Toronto who are dealing with mental health issues and are currently in crisis. We are a voluntary, non-medical service and work towards helping people meet their needs as they see them.
Our services include 24-hour telephone crisis intervention, a mobile crisis team, a substance use crisis team as well as short-term residential crisis beds. The Gerstein Centre also facilitates various wellness and recovery programs believing recovery is different for everyone and can be supported by a range of service models.
