I am a proud Canadian and a proud Acadian. When I was young, I thought that all family get-togethers had uncles, aunts and cousins playing fiddles, guitars, spoons, harmonica, mandolins while the children were encouraged to dance in the middle of the music circle. As I grew into my teenagehood, I remember thinking “What do you mean that you just push a button to play music at your parties?”
