Kim’s Krew Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving some of the neediest families in Manatee County.  Kim’s Krew provides a safety net for those that have fallen through the cracks.  Using information generated through a client-based approach Kim’s Krew has been able to find unique ways to stabilize underserved families in crisis. 85% of Kim’s Krew clients have limited access to the 50 drive-through type food pantries caused by a lack of transportation combined with major medical situations such as cancer, blindness, Covid, cardiopulmonary diseases, PTSD, recent surgeries, mental illness, or the ability to walk or carry groceries. 70% of these clients are under the age of 62, further limiting their resources.
