Ladies in the Family Foundation (LIFF) is a Black-led, immigrant-focused nonprofit dedicated to empowering women and girls, particularly those of African and Caribbean descent, to thrive mentally, socially, and economically as they build new lives in Canada. Since its inception, LIFF has reached over 667 participants through impactful programs such as HERConnect, Cook for Inclusion, BE-GIRL, and Light Up Our Podium. Each year, approximately 250 women and girls benefit from these programs that focus on mental wellness, cultural celebration, leadership, and skill-building.
