LiftED Literacy and Leadership supports students aged 5 to 17 in underserved Toronto communities to build confidence, strengthen self-esteem, and unlock their full potential. Through free, community-driven out-of-school literacy and leadership programs, we provide safe, engaging environments where students can learn, grow, and thrive. Our programs combine creative classroom learning with hands-on, experiential opportunities, helping students close the opportunity gap and develop the skills they need for long-term success.
LiftED has partnered with 14 local schools and served over 770 students. Across our programs, 80 percent of participants have improved their literacy and math skills, 83 percent have reported increased self-esteem, and 93 percent of students and parents have expressed high satisfaction.
Working in close collaboration with the communities we serve, LiftED provides critical support that helps students succeed both in school and beyond.
