Trauma to Triumphs, Inc. (DBA: bKind) empowers communities to be a catalyst for change, transcending barriers of race, gender, socioeconomic status, and polarization, by providing access to education, resources and opportunities that promote wellness, kindness, unity, and economic development. 

bKind is a 100% volunteer-driven 501c3 nonprofit serving under-resourced communities in collaboration with corporate partners, civic leaders, and other dedicated organizations.

Our kit-making projects have provided engaging, meaningful team-building volunteer opportunities for corporate partners and we recently learned about the amazing model Kits for a Cause has created.

It is very uplifting to connect with an organization whose values, vision, and mission are so deeply aligned with ours!

We have created kits for mental health, fitness, learning for children/youth, digital literacy, learning to code, basic necessities (for feminine hygiene, baby care, and kids), winter & summer care, bKind to animals, holidays.

We incorporate the kits into relevant programs such as:

• Food Distributions: ongoing + annual Thanksgiving giveaway with over 1500 backpacks of turkeys, canned goods, and other items for a full holiday meal
• Trauma Support: workshops/programs in shelters, emergency facilities for survivors of abuse/human trafficking, community centers, etc. to promote mental health and self-care
• Annual Coat and Toy Giveaway: over 1000 toys, coats, blankets, and other winter items
• Educational Programs: Laptops & other tech for under-resourced schools, virtual video tutorials to bridge the digital divide providing access to learning opportunities in technology to empower underserved with skills and knowledge to break the cycle of poverty and create pathways to careers with high earning potential
