Lookout is a charitable organization and social safety net that provides a range of support services to adults living in extreme poverty who have multiple barriers to housing. We provide non-judgmental services to individuals who cope with a wide variety of challenges that include mental health, substance use, chronic illness, physical disabilities, histories of trauma. Because the people we serve have difficulty in meeting basic needs and goals, we place minimum barriers between them and our services.
Services include emergency shelter, supportive housing, community resource centres, outreach and health services as well as food security and peer support programs for more that 2600 people everyday. Lookout operates 41 sites in 4 municipalities across Metro Vancouver, Fraser Valley and Victoria.
