North Point Douglas Womens Centre

North Point Douglas (NPD) is a 1.1 square kilometer neighborhood located in Winnipeg’s Inner City with a population of approximately 2600. Roughly 35% of the NPD population is Indigenous and 11% consists of other visible minorities. The unemployment rate in NPD is 12.4% and the median household income is $37,055. We are primarily a drop-in center but we also run the Mama Bear Clan & We are just beginning our journey into doing outreach.
