The Personal Care Foundation is a Maryland-based, volunteer-run nonprofit that provides women’s, men’s, and children’s hygiene care packages to survivors of domestic violence and individuals re-entering the workforce. Each care package includes essential items such as soap or body wash, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, lotion, toothpaste, toothbrushes, laundry detergent sheets, and other hygiene basics.

These are everyday items many people take for granted, yet for individuals rebuilding their lives, they can be difficult to afford. Many basic hygiene items are not covered by assistance programs such as SNAP, or EBT which means families often have to pay for them out of pocket. Through partnerships with local nonprofits and community organizations, we distribute care packages that help restore dignity, support health, and build confidence. Your support helps us place practical, meaningful care directly into the hands of those who need it most.
