Rebound Child & Youth Services Northumberland (Rebound) is a not-for-profit, incorporated charitable organization that has been serving the needs of children, youth, and families across Northumberland County since 1997. Our mission is to provide high-quality, community-based programs and services that support positive development and promote well-being.
At Rebound, children and youth are our priority. We work collaboratively with a wide network of community partners and more than 70 dedicated volunteers to deliver supportive, proactive programming that empowers young people and their families to create meaningful change in their lives.
Our services are confidential, respectful, and responsive. We offer a safe space for children, youth, and families to explore challenges, identify strengths, and access resources tailored to their unique needs. Programs are designed to promote resilience, independence, and positive decision-making.
Rebound is committed to working with families, not just for them. We actively invite the voices of children, youth, caregivers, and families in shaping our services. By fostering a partnership-based approach, we ensure our supports are relevant, inclusive, and effective in meeting the evolving needs of the community.
As part of our ongoing commitment to meet emerging needs, Rebound is exploring the launch of a Young Mother Market Event, aimed at supporting young mothers between the ages of 16 to 24 who are receiving Ontario Works or have no income. The event will offer essential items through a no-cost “market-style” experience, and we will be preparing care kits to distribute during the event. These kits will help address immediate needs and connect young mothers with further support services, reducing barriers and promoting stability for both the mothers and their children.
