The Society for Children and Youth of BC (SCY) is a unique provincial not for profit organization dedicated to improving the well-being of children and youth in British Columbia through the advancement of their rights.
Since 1974, the Society has focused on providing a strong voice representing children and youth. We provide free legal services to vulnerable children and youth in the areas of family law, child protection and other human rights/youth areas of law. We host a Child Rights Public Awareness Campaign through which we provide printed materials, workshops, and other youth engagement initiatives. We also work to ensure young peoples’ voices and interests are considered at a municipal level through our Urban Explorers initiative.
