Who is Sea to Sky Community Services?
Sea to Sky Community Services has been supporting people living in the Sea to Sky corridor for more than 47 years.  Our programs and services touch 15% of the population each year.  In Pemberton, this past year, we served 23% of the population.

Every day, SSCS helps thousands of children, youth, and adults build their skills, abilities, confidence, self-worth, and mental health. In this way, we help create communities where people can support themselves and one another.  We are the only organization in the region to be accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities for internationally recognized organizational and program standards. 

We work within the community:

• We consult and partner with local governments including the Village of Pemberton, the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District, Squamish Nation, and Stl’atl’imx Nations of Lil’wat, Samahquam, Skatin, Xa’xtsa and N’Quatqua Nations.
• We are committed to improving what we do through continuous engagement, data collection and developmental evaluation. We ensure our programs are effective and responsive to the evolving needs of the community.
• Our leadership comes from the communities we serve. SSCS’s governance structure, led by a diverse Board of Directors, and supported by experienced leadership, reflects a wealth of knowledge in community-led planning, infrastructure development, and program delivery.
• We offer an extensive portfolio of more than 40 programs and services accessed more than 6,900 annually by individuals and families. From parental supports to early childhood care and education, mental health services, affordable housing initiatives, youth programs, and assistance with food security, and substance use issues, SSCS continues to address the evolving circumstances of Sea to Sky residents.
