The Link programs and resources include specialized foster care, healing homes, 24-hour youth crisis services, mobile crisis teams, drop in centre, emergency youth shelters and resource centres in Winnipeg and Thompson, Indigenous-led land-based learning, mental health and addictions services, job training, and programs that equip young adults to live independently after leaving care.
Our needs do fluctuate with the season. As you can imagine, when the temperature drops, the need for warmer clothing increases and often our supplies are depleted.
We always welcome donations of hygiene products. Items such as socks, underwear, toiletries, shampoo and conditioner, body wash, soap, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste and menstrual products are some of our most requested items.
We are grateful to our donors that allow us to continue the important work that is accomplished. As we are a registered charitable organization, we provide receipts for the value of your donation. We also highlight contributions on our Annual Report, social media platforms and newsletter.
By contributing to The Link, you are investing in the resilience and potential of our youth, giving them the chance to break free from the cycle of poverty and build a future filled with hope and promise.
