The Mission Is… Foundation (TMIF) exists to empower underserved communities by eliminating systemic and societal barriers through advocacy, education, and equitable access to essential resources, with a dedicated focus on supporting women and youth.
The name “The Mission Is…” was intentionally left open-ended because the mission is bigger than one issue, one program, or one community. It creates space to respond where the need is greatest because sometimes the mission looks like dignity, sometimes it looks like access, and sometimes it looks like advocacy. The need may shift, but the purpose remains the same: helping people move forward.
TMIF brings that mission to life through initiatives that create real, practical impact. Through Dignity Kit collection drives, we provide essential hygiene and self-care items that restore dignity, confidence, and comfort to individuals facing need. Through The Mission Is… Her Access, we raise awareness, advocate for equity, and work to improve access to menstrual products for girls and women who may have to otherwise go without. Through The Mission Is… Access fund, we help remove barriers by providing resource-based assistance for education, transportation, childcare, and other essential needs through an application-based process that connects individuals to vetted support, partnerships, and opportunities that help create stability, growth, and long-term success..
But this work cannot be done alone.
TMIF believes real impact happens through community, collaboration, and intentional partnerships. Whether through sponsorship, donations, advocacy, volunteerism, or strategic collaboration, partners play a vital role in helping us extend resources, remove barriers, and create lasting change where it is needed most.
