The Refugee Centre, a non-profit organization based in Tiohtià:ke/Montréal, was founded in 2015. What
began as a grassroots initiative has grown into a leading frontline organization for newcomers, with an
expertise in serving refugees and refugee claimants. Our services are rooted in the realities on the ground
and address legal, social, economic, academic, housing and health needs to make sure that no one is left
behind during their journey.

Our mission: To create long-lasting, self-sustainable, and creative solutions to refugee settlements and
integration.

Our vision: To build a future in which the systems of care, housing, and integration are so inclusive and
accessible that organizations like ours become unnecessary because governments and communities
have fully bridged the gaps.
