Our community work begins with sharing and connecting our neighbours to the resources that vulnerable families require to thrive. Through food, clothing and furniture assistance parents and children are invited into a pathway of hope – connecting their strengths and ambitions into a supported goal-oriented plan with the supports and accountability to achieve a better life and break the cycle of poverty. Our programs are formulated each season based on community partnerships and the goals that our neighbours make. These include recovery, wellness workshops, life skills, on-the-job training and giving back to others through volunteering and leading themselves through seasonal events like our back to school and Christmas campaigns.
