Sudbury Cedar Place provides emergency housing to women and families, helping them secure safe, affordable, and permanent housing and the supports required to maintain housing. Services provided at the shelter: accommodation, basic needs, healthy meals and snacks, harm reduction, a thorough assessment and community referrals, life skills and workshops, discharge planning, and assistance in setting up once housing is secured. The shelter is a 28-bed, large, century-old home with a comfortable and home-like atmosphere, where every person is a guest and treated like family.
