Founded in 1990 to address the pressing need for support of children affected by HIV/AIDS.The Teresa Group advances the dignity and well-being of children and families affected by HIV and AIDS. As one of the few organizations in North America – and the only organization in Ontario – providing HIV support focused on children and families. We offer a broad and comprehensive range of care and support programs for approximately 1000 children of all ages in the GTA and across Ontario.

To mitigate the impact of poverty we provide practical supports including diapers, grocery vouchers, emergency food supplies, transit tokens, new and gently used clothing and backpacks containing school supplies. To alleviate the stress faced by our families as they navigate through often complex issues of stigma and discrimination, we offer an array of emotional support including peer support and individual and family counselling.
