TCO (Trinity Christmas/Community Outreach) strives to help children in need and their families in the community of LaSalle, Quebec. Every December, for the past 12 years, TCO has been hosting a Christmas event for over 300 children and their families. These families partake in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities catering to all ages; such as inflatables, craft tables, sleigh rides and cupcake decorating. Every child receives treats, gifts and memories for a lifetime. Furthermore, families in attendance will receive a frozen turkey, trimmings for a Christmas meal and a $25 gift certificate from Provigo.

As customary, we are partnering with the CLSC and their social workers, as well as women’s shelters. Trinity church receives the names of people in need; thus ensuring that the right people in the community are benefitting from all proceeds. Furthermore, the day of the event we host 120 volunteers, who dedicate time and effort to make this event successful.

TCO has recently begun a springtime outreach initiative, which allows us to call back the families who attended the Christmas event for an additional fun family day. During our springtime edition, we hope to provide the families with necessities such as clothing, undergarments and hygiene products for the children.
