Unity Project for Relief of Homelessness provides housing-outcome focused emergency shelter, supportive housing and in-home housing stability supports for adults and youth of all genders, prioritizing those with medical conditions, including couples and people with pets.
Our values
Values of Respect, Cooperation, Interdependence and Compassion inform our character.
Our goals
To make a stay at our shelter as comfortable, productive, and as short as possible – helping end the experience of homelessness for all those in our care.
Our work
To divert people from shelter wherever there is opportunity; to stabilize participants in their moment of crisis by meeting their basic needs; to engage participants in their own process toward housing and stability, and; to utilize every available community resource to prevent or to end the experience of homelessness for all those in our care.
Emergency Shelter Frontline
Our housing-outcome focused shelter program accommodates 38 youth, adults and seniors of all genders, prioritizing those with complex housing requirements including medical conditions, couples and people with pets. Participants’ basic needs are met daily while engaging in a personal action plan toward housing and stability in community.

Supportive Housing
Unity House, Unity Project’s supportive housing unit, provides private, rent-geared-to-income accommodations with shared amenities and housing stability supports for 6 – 8 individuals to develop greater independence and a tenancy track record while working on transitioning to housing in the community.
Housing Stability Program
Moderate to intensive case management to help those with a history of homelessness to obtain housing, and with in-home supports to connect individuals to appropriate medical, mental health, age, race, and gender wrap-around supports – whatever it takes – to maintain stability, wellness and belonging in community.
