Hello, I sent an email and was suggested to fill out this form. I have copied the email again below as well.
Hello,
I hope this message finds you well.
I am a Gender Health Equity Worker at the YWCA Hamilton and we are currently working on a new project called the Emergency Reproductive Care Program and Care Kits and thought that maybe you would be interested in supporting. Through this program, we support individuals who are pregnant and/or parenting by providing practical resources, compassionate care, and meaningful community connections.
We are currently preparing “Care Kits” for participants and we were wondering if you might be open to supporting this work through in-kind donations or by partnering with us on a small community collection drive. .
As this is an ongoing effort, we hope to build longer-term community partnerships where possible. That said, we are deeply grateful for one-time contributions as well every donation, regardless of size, makes a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
We have a list of items I can forward you but some examples of the items are below
-
Food items like Granola and protein bars, juice boxes, fruit cups, oatmeal, water bottles, etc
-
Clothing items like slippers and socks
-
Personal Care items like washcloths and towels, Bandaids, first aids kits, toothbrushes and paste, shampoo, hairbrush, ChapStick, tampons, etc
-
Baby care items like fleece blankets, baby wipes, diapers, infant creams, body wash, shampoos

If you would like to learn more about our program or explore ways to partner, we would be happy to connect and share additional information.
