Th =e Jamaica College Old Boys’ Association of Canada is a charity devoted to the development of the students at Jamaica College. As a Canadian charity we support the school and students with in-kind donations of academic – books, lab equipment, electronics; sports gear – Bats, balls, shoes etc.and equipment – pole vault, high jump etc.; Classroom and office furniture and grounds and building maintenance equipment. If and when we have excess we donae to other schools on the island.
We work hand in glove with the school to identify areas of need that we are able to support. Our support is driven primarily by funds raised at our annual Gala, and donation.
We have no paid staff, and as such between 95 and 99 percent of funds raised go toward our cause.
