WAGEP is a nonprofit organization that works to support women, children and families in need. Our mission is to empower women and families in need by creating livelihood opportunities integrated with community development initiatives that give pathways to self-sufficiency to improve their lives. We envisage  a just world, freed of poverty, discrimination, and exploitation where everyone  has the opportunity to thrive. We strive to identify the unique needs of women and children in our communities and address the factor keeping them from realizing it. Our goals are rooted in a desire to improve the lives of marginalized women and children thus to create a safe place for them.
